Who are you guys, anyway?
Perhaps you’ll find that by clicking the About IP button above, all your questions will be answered. Much like a Magic 8 Ball. Ask again later…

What is a Limited Edition?
It is a book that has a limited number of copies printed. For instance, Limited Edition of 100 Copies means there are 100 copies of that book available. When you have one, it is one of a kind. Only you will have the number 69 for example.

What is a PC and an ARC?
A PC is what is referred to in the business as a Publisher’s Copy. They are strictly for us, the publisher. If you find you own one, the publisher either sold it to someone who sold it to you (which is technically breaking the code of the sacred rite of the Limited Edition), or gave it away to someone who then sold it to you. An ARC is what is referred to in the business as an Advance Reading Copy. Basically, we as publishers have to sell our books. A great way to sell those books beyond advertising in various magazines and on websites is to send out copies to reviewers who will hopefully review the book for one of those very same magazines and websites. They are strictly for the reviewer, but once it is in their hands, they’re free to do whatever they want with it. That includes wiping their ass with it if they so desire. Most of the time they end up on eBay or AbeBooks or some place that sells used books.

May I submit a story or novella or novel to you for publication consideration?
We would love to look at your ideas. Whether you are a popular author who has been in the business for many years, or just getting your feet wet, Insidious Publications would like to hear from you. However, we don't have time to read entire chapbook/novella/novel-length stories to find out if we want to publish it or not, nor long synopsises or outlines. Please send us the gist of your tale in a short and to the point paragraph or two. If we like what we see, we'll ask for a detailed synopsis/outline. Please use the Submissions form with your idea. Thank you.

How can I order one of your books?
By going to the Store section of this website. When one is not yet published but has been announced, you will be able to preorder it. If it is published and available, you can order a copy on the spot and we’ll rush it out to you on a magic flying carpet, also known as the USPS.
